Sterilising Instructions.
The melting temperature of polyester is 230°C but as you approach this temperature the fibre will be damaged and the cord will shrink.
A common test done on yarn is the hot air shrinkage test. At 180°C for 2minutes the fibre will shrink approximately 7%.
